In another life, I had a job job in software management that required lots of travel. In that time, I found a deep appreciation for local fare, and anytime I hit up a new city, I try to gather recommendations of places to eat, sleep, and play from my social network. Watusi Cafe was one such recommendation, and boy it did not disappoint!
The coffee was probably the best that we had during our trip, we all three ordered specialty espresso drinks, and they were all superb. I also ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich and a pancake, which perfectly satisfied my craving for both sweet and salty – plus, I really love bread!
I will definitely be coming back to Watusi on my next trip to Hilton Head!
